This Aha! Celebration is for Eleesha, based in the UK, she is an inspirational writer, author and blogger who shares her “auto-written” inspirational work with people from all walks of life and across the globe – helping them on a daily basis using social media. She is the founder of www.Eleesha.com and has a following of over 94,900 on Twitter who adore her work! This is equivalent to celebrities who have their own TV shows!
I met Eleesha on Twitter. What struck me was that her tweets were always so inspirational, insightful and heartfelt and I found myself agreeing with so many of her points. I also saw so many of her tweets being retweeted by others and was really impressed that someone who had such a “spiritual / wholistic business” had embraced social media with amazing success. So many “spiritual” business owners seem to avoid social media and I have felt they are missing out on a HUGE opportunity to get their work out to the world.
Eleesha auto-writes (also known as channels) about 30 new inspirational passages per week and then writes reflections and insights to accompany them for her readers. She has written over 5000 original pieces on topics such as abundance, discipline, overcoming fear and acquiring happiness and a myriad of others. In addition Eleesha will be coming out with her first book this year “The Soul Whisperer”.
“Inspiring others really does make my heart sing!” – Eleesha
As Enlightened Entrepreneurs we all combine both marketing and manifesting! So I asked Eleesha about her secrets to success.
Eleesha’s Best Manifesting Advice:
Eleesha auto writes daily by hand into a journal and then transcribes them to the computer. “I recommend that people trust and listen to their inner voice and remain soulfully guided and inspired, in all that they say, think and do.”
Eleesha’s Best Marketing Advice:
“My most powerful marketing tip is to market yourself or your business in a way that makes you feel comfortable, but above all you must be consistent. I share my work daily using Twitter because it suits me and my style of work, but above all I have remained consistent. Followers on Twitter come and go but what is important is that they know I am always there to inspire them whenever they return!”
So I had to ask Eleesha what her secret was for creating such a huge following on Twitter! Her is what she had to say!:
Twitter is a unique and powerful medium, you either love it or hate it; but for me (@eleesha), it has been my best friend, and the best thing that could have happened to me. Before Twitter, I had no voice to share my work in the way that I wanted and using traditional methods such as blogs and search engines, was just not working. I found Twitter quite by chance, and chose it because of its simplicity (short & sweet with 140 character limit), but most of all – because it gave me a ‘live voice’ to reach people from all four corners of the globe – instantly.
In the early days of Twitter, people just tweeted about going shopping, or making their breakfast and so forth; there was certainly nothing inspiring being tweeted and businesses were not using it at all. Tweets did not even have links in them, because it was mainly just personal information. When I started tweeting my original quotes and affirmations, I was forced to put links into my tweets, so tweeters could also read my daily insights and reflections.
Before long, my work was being enjoyed; appreciated; and re-tweeted. People were clicking on the tweeted links to visit my website and read more. Soon, I had friends and followers around the globe and the amazing thing was that – sharing my work was not just being done by me, but by others too – it had simply gone viral. This is another important aspect about Twitter, its viral capability is immense; if people like what you have to say, they will happily share it, with their friends and followers too.
Today, using links in Tweets is the norm, and so is the unique content, which so many other special tweeters provide, on a daily basis. Although there are many different types of tweeters; due to the nature of my work, I would consider myself to be an all-rounder. I tweet original content; I am consistent; I engage my friends and followers daily; and I also help promote my followers too, either through re-tweets or by featuring them in my virtual twitter-based newspaper called, ‘The Inspiration Daily’.
Twitter takes a lot of hard work and dedication if one intends to use it as a main source of promotion and communication. I understand that Twitter may not be ideal for everyone on such a large scale – but with a growing list of over 94,000+ loving; dedicated; and supportive followers; it makes doing what I do feel so important, and very worthwhile.
The key message that Eleesha has for Enlightened Entrepreneurs is:
“We are all unique individuals, but I would encourage Enlightened Entrepreneurs to focus on the tasks that lie ahead and to always embrace new challenges, because they are there to help you grow. Stay focused on all that you are destined to achieve personally or in your business and never falter by giving up too soon. With lots of inspiration either from myself or others, you can never lose – only win!”
